My name is Taylor Staples and I'm from Chicago, IL. Now residing in Cheyenne, WY, I graduated from Ball State University in Spring 2024 with a dual major in Telecommunications and Journalism News with a minor in Screenwriting and Film.
I love to discuss pop culture, listen to podcasts and deliberate about television, music and movies. Eventually, I'd love to work in the television or broadcast space, and maybe dabble in the production side.
During my time at Ball State, I was a part of WCRD 91.3 Radio, where I was a writer and anchor for their daily news show. I also worked at Digital Corps, a student-centered creative IT agency with five other interdisciplinary teams.
On top of that, I made social media graphics and designed merchandise for on-campus clubs, and was the co-head and editor-in-chief of Her Campus Ball State, an online magazine for college women.
I also did multiple internships throughout my college career, including the Disney College Program in fall 2022 and Intersection Marketing in summer 2023.
